About

The Man, The Vision, the long lasting physiological effects.
While some would view the craziness as complete absurdity, those you know him well, can confirm that fact. “He’s got a heart of gold, but to say he has his own brand of illogical logic would be a mammoth understatement.” says Jason Coleman, co-host of TFormers.com Podcast.
As with Anthony’s other friends there seems to be the common consensus that not only does Anthony have his own sense of humor, but his attempts to make entertainment for himself; seems to create humor for others.
What kind of person would record two years of Answering Machine Messages and burn them to a CD as a Christmas gift for his friends? The CD itself is starting to circle through the underground community and everyone who has heard it has fallen over laughing… or was that clutching their ears in pain.
“Anthony seems to attract a group of friends that shares the same type of wackiness as he does.” says Anthony’s mother (actually she didn’t say this, but she would if someone asked her.)
As while most friends would gather friends to go to a comic book convention, or maybe a Star Trek convention, Anthony has organized friends to head to Botcon, the Annual Transformers convention. “Yep I’m a really annoying geek and proud of it,” says Anthony.
One has to wonder what runs through the mind of this strange young man. With artistic experience ranging from oil paints, to computers, to audio it seems Anthony has pretty much covered it all, but even he admits that not everything has gone smoothly through his career.
“The collection of mold didn’t quite fly, and then there was that attempt to market pet lions that causes us to pull the project. Then there was Obscurity Cereal which also proved disappointing.”
Still Anthony’s biggest personal accomplishment to date has to be the Zapbots. The combinations of over 15 years of childhood dreams and experiences. “The Zapbots was my way of trying to incorporate everything I enjoyed in Sci-Fi into one project. You take the intelligence of Star Trek, the great plots of Star Wars, the fascination with technology of Robocop and Transformers and roll them into one big thing and BANG… instant plagiarism!”
“Yeah the Zapbots… don’t go there, you’ll never go back,” says long time friend Patrick Brumbaugh.
Through the years Anthony has bounced back from all sorts of problems. Anthony admits there was a point where even he was too poor to eat. “I had to recycle the socks I couldn’t use for work for food. I tell you, a sock casserole is really hard to eat.”
Now a Award Winning Designer known around the world; he tries not to let things go to his head, which he even admits is quite hard. “I try not to forget the little people because I was once of them, HEY YOU GET ME SOME COFFEE QUICK!!!, now what was I saying?”
Anthony Anselmo, a man of imagination. Who knows where that imagination came from? (Probably pulled out of the God’s a*s). But never the less he continues on. Pushing art and design in areas people just don’t want to go…
