Support & Management
You know that one guy at the IT center that everyone goes to? Yep that’s me. I have been the friendly face and the supportive individual that finds the problems to those quirky one-in-a-million situations. I have been that calm reassuring voice for those in distress with their application and a trainer as needed. I’ve worked with all types of user groups ranging from tech-savy elites to tech-challenged workers. One of the proudest moments of my career is when I showed up for a training session someone said ‘Oh you’re here, now I feel much better.’ Whether it is helping someone over the phone to fix their computer or work with someone to configure an application I meet every challenge with professionalism and respect for the everyone.
Working as a project manager or assistant manager has been a secondary job in most situations. I’ve been fortunate to work with several co-workers helping to manage projects. In one example in particular we focused hard to make sure the corporate Intranet provided everyday users the ability to update content easily and effectively.
Quality control and implementation processes are new items I have recently added to my skill set. The importance of standardized processes for applications can never be under-estimated. Knowing these processes and becoming an expert in implementation releases provides any company the stability to deliver successful solutions on time and on budget.
Recent training includes…
- Release to Production Approval Process
- Technical Peer Reviews/Technical Auditing
- Functional and Unit Tests
- ITG Document Preparation and Review
- Implementation/Backup and Roll-Out plans
- Project Estimations and Control
